The latest version of EasyBlog no longer supports Joomla 1.5 but you can download an older version (3.8.x) by clicking on the "Download older versions" as that version would work on Joomla 1.5. By the way, you should upgrade Joomla to the latest version as it offers a lot more than Joomla 1.5

I tried com_easyblog_pro_3.8.14670 and got the same error. Can you provide the exact version of 3.8.x that will work with Joomla 1.5? Every version in the older downloads lists 1.6 - 3.x so it is not clear which version will work with 1.5. Thanks!

Hello Trina,

You can download any of those 3.8.x version and install in your Joomla 1.5. If its still doesn't work, you can follow these steps to install via directory: http://stackideas.com/docs/easyblog/installation/installing-from-directory . Please give it a try.
