When we enter new blog entries, every time there appears a white box with a red titel "EasyBlog 5.0.41" and no message in it.
I searched the forum already, but only found one entry that had the same problem which was issued by a receipe plugin. We dont have such a one. All other parts of our soccer club website runs smoothly.

We have this problem since months and I hoped it would be solved after updating easyblog each time, but that did not help :-(

Any ideas?
Hello Joachim,
Can you provide your backend and ftp access at http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site so we can investigate this issue for you?
Also, may I know what actions specifically trigger this error? Because I would like to replicate this issue. Thanks.

Hi Joachim,

We own the "other site" that had this frustrating issue. It took removing our recipe plug to fix it, but the problem was an Ajax conflict. If you installed any extra applications to your site, you probably have a small conflict as well.

I tested the recipe plugin under different conditions and it ran well with everything except EB.

Nothing else was effected the same way, just the blogs. We need blogs more than we need recipes, so we tossed it. But, it was a tough choice. If I could have integrated WordPress with our ES user base, I'd have dropped EB. I have a guy looking into an integration of WP still.

---

You can check for your own conflicts by turning off all other (outside vendor) software and then clearing cache. Add items back one at a time, check to see if you have the box again. You'll find it pretty quickly that way - we did.

My tech head said we could play with the order of loading to try and resolve it. But I didn't want unstable/conflicted code coexisting. Not sure how technical you are but I thought I'd share our experience.

good luck to you,

Bridgette

Hi Raymond,

I put backend access to this ticket. Maybe it disappeared after editing my original post.
Then this is something you have to solve too ;-)

Hello Joachim,

Thanks for updating, it looks like we can reproduce this issue on your site and it seems like it is only happening after the auto saving kicks in. In order for us to investigate further, could you please edit your first post and include the FTP access please?

I am suspecting that this could be one of the content plugins on the site.

Hello Joachim,

Is there anyway for you to get FTP access? I have been trying to troubleshoot your site but there are just no errors reported on the site

Hey there,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply,

It seems like Facebook did update their API again so you hitting this "Invalid Oauth access token", I already applied some fix in this file -> /administrator/components/com_easyblog/includes/oauth/adapters/facebook/client.php , you have to try click "revoke access" button from backend > Easyblog > autopost > facebook then click sign in via Facebook button.

After that, try submit a test blog post and see how it goes?

Regarding with your redbox pop up issue, It seems like you didn't provide us with your Joomla backend access yet, can you update again from your first post?

After troubleshoot long hour ago, it seems like this 3rd party plugin Content Plugin - Fussballtabelle J!2.5 - J!3.x causing this redbox pop up, I already help you disable it, it shouldn't appear that redbox now.

By the way, I did changed your default list limit from 500 to 20 (screenshot : http://take.ms/9P2U6 ), because it will caused site performance issue if it load 500 article on the page at the same time.

AND the view of posts is still broken and not formatted!!!

It would be best if you can start a new post on our forum regarding this new issue, it will help us manage your issue earlier.

To be honestly, i didn't publish any test post before, your redbox issue no need to submit a test post to reproduce this, what i test just now is let it empty title and blog content then click submit post button so it will pop up that redbox.

Perhaps you can share with us which test post title and when published these test post from your Facebook page? Because I would like to check whether empty title and blog content also can autopost to your Facebook page, if that is the case, it could be a bug.

This might be need your help to test with empty blog title and content and see whether still can autopost to your Facebook Page, because if I test on this, I was unable to delete it immediately from your Facebook, unless I have your Facebook access.
