Error appearing in EasySocial sidebar

Hi.
I have placed the "Recent Discussions" module on the ES stream sidebar, but am seeing this error message at the top of the module:
Notice: Undefined variable: groupByQuery in /home/uread/public_html/modules/mod_recentdiscussions/helper.php on line 87
