Hi
I have just been having my site migrated from Hostgator to LiquidWeb. All has gone well except for an error that occurs when the community and user profile pages load. Everything else seems to be working.

The site is still live at Hostgator. The problem has been occurring in the LiquibWeb test environment.

I have provided a screen shot of the error and are hoping you can advise.

Many thanks

Steve
Hello Steven,

It looks like the EasySocial upgrade did not go as smoothly as intended and the stored functions wasn't created correctly. Is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to your site to check on this issue?

Hi Mark

Thank you for your quick response. I think you guys must never sleep

I have provided FTP access and a cPanel access as well - both of these are to the test site, not the live site.

Thanks for you support.

Hi Arlex

Just checked, the the problem still exists. I think you are not seeing it because you are looking at the live (Hostgator) site rather than the test environment with LiquidWeb.

A couple of the URLs that are not working are:
http://icultivate.net/community/my-icultivate/my-profile1/my-profile
http://icultivate.net/community

But this is only happening on the test site.

I have provided IP address and other details in this reply.

Really appreciate your help with this.

Many thanks

Steve

Hi Arlex

I had to edit the "Host" file on my computer to force it to the specific IP Address before I was able to access the test site. To do this, the instructions they provided me with are:
http://kb.liquidweb.com/dns-hosts-file/

Hope this helps.

If I uninstall and then reinstall EasySocial, wont I loose everything that is already there?

Thanks

Steve

Hello Steven M,

Actually you no need to uninstall the Easysocial from your site, what you can do is directly upload/install from your extension manager. Hope this help.

Don't quite understand ....... I have uploaded from within the Extension manager already.

But, given that Easy Social is already installed, and it is the latest version, there appears to be no option to reinstall or upgrade it.

If I try to upgrade within EasySocial itself, I am unable to do so, because it does not give me any option to upgrade because the latest version is already there.

Hope this makes sense.

hello Steven M,

Sorry for late reply to this, I have tried to follow the instruction you provided for me -> http://kb.liquidweb.com/dns-hosts-file/
put this line code in my file -> C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts

123.123.123.123 icultivate.net http://www.icultivate.net

But I'm still can't able to access in your test site, is it the IP address shouldn't put this?

Oh, try follow my step below even your site already running latest version of Easysocial, you also able to upload/install again
Step 1 : Download the launcher from your stackideas dashboard -> http://screencast.com/t/i6IRxG8P
Step 2 : Upload/install the EasySocial installer file from extension manager
Step 3: Click process installation
Step 4: Click next > Next >
Step 5 : Select install via network > insert the API key > click Install

After you finish this step then check again is it still getting the error? Please advise.
