Hi. I created FB and Twitter apps by following your instructions but when i try to authenticate with the link to confirm the autoposting i get error 0 after i fill in the credentials of my FB and Twitter account.
Hey Francesco,

It is most likely that your Facebook and Twitter app is not configured correctly and the only way for us to troubleshoot this if you provide us with the login credentials for both these social sites. Can you please provide these login credentials to us so that we can troubleshoot this?

So how proceed about FB? Your documentation about create FB app is not updated because something is changed on FB app.
I confirmed now to FB that i tried to access to my account from your country so maybe you can access now. Otherwise we have to find another solution.
About autoposting: do i have to disable the autoposting of JFB connect, correct? Because i'll use that of easyblog, no?

Or if you want you can try to create a FB app by yourself and show to me the screenshots how to proceed because your documentation is not updated.
Please let me know.
Thanks.

Hi Francesco,

I'm sorry for the inconvenience caused. I've try to authenticate your facebook for autoposting, and it works fine
Please refer this screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/FdeFQSUcranN
Can you please give it a try?
Regarding the documentation I will extend this to our developer to update it

So why i get that error? It seems you didn't change anything, correct?
Also i read this on autpposting FB settings: "Facebook automatically expires the validity of the token after 60 days. This token will expire on Saturday, 09 July 2016."
Do i have to renew it manually? And what happens if i don't do that?
And for the last. If i set Autopost On Post Being Updated as YES, when i edit or update the post it will be added as new on Fb or will override the post shared on FB already?
Best regards

I have try to post a blog post into Facebook, and it works fine now (please refer this screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/EYlB2BDHjP ). I have inspected that you have miss-configure the Facebook apps setting, where you did not fill up the Valid OAuth redirect URIs as well as the Deauthorise Callback URL fields

Regarding your second enquiry
Also i read this on autpposting FB settings: "Facebook automatically expires the validity of the token after 60 days. This token will expire on Saturday, 09 July 2016."
Do i have to renew it manually? And what happens if i don't do that?

Yes, you have to do it manually, if you did not do that, the blog post will not autopost to the Facebook as the token was expired:(

If i set Autopost On Post Being Updated as YES, when i edit or update the post it will be added as new on Fb or will override the post shared on FB already?

As you enable the Autopost On Post Being Updated, the post will be added as new on Facebook

Hope this helps

Hey Francesco,

Unfortunately this restriction is being imposed by Facebook and not by EasyBlog. We cannot automate the process of "renewing" it automatically as Facebook requires you to be logged into your own Facebook account when EasyBlog authorizes the account.

Ok. But you could run the renew with cron feature for example or send a mail alert to admin before it expires. No?
Two other questions please: i edited the name of FB app from "Easyblog app" to "blog app". I think that i can do that. But when i save it i get the message "Currently Ineligible for Submission
Your submission is missing data in the following fields: App Icon." Why?

No, the cron cannot be logged into Facebook This is a requirement set by Facebook and unfortunately there is nothing we can do about this.

As for the other inquiries you have, please start a new thread on the forums for each questions separately.
