Hi,
Was trying to post to Facebook and can't again as the error 0 problem has popped up again!
Have there been changes to the facebook api again?
Derek
Hello Derek,

Yes, it looks like Facebook API has changed but if you apply the changes that I provided here, http://stackideas.com/forums/error-3 , it should be fixed. If the problem is still occurring for you, can you please provide us with the back end and FTP access to the site?

Hello Derek,

I am not really sure how to access your EasyDiscuss because when I tried to access http://gigatown.co.nz/index.php?option=com_easydiscuss , it returns an error page.

Hello Derek,

Okay, it looks like there's 2 more other issues on the site. Firstly, it looks like the admin id set in Settings > Social Integrations > Facebook is invalid. I have temporarily removed it. The second issue seems to be caused by the gzip compression. If gzip compression is enabled, Facebook's link scrapper is not able to access your site and in order for auto posting links to work, Facebook needs to be able to access the link (Their new API is really bad).

Hello Derek,

So sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Please go to your Facebook profile (make sure this is the profile is the admin for your Facebook app)

https://www.facebook.com/your-name-here

then change it to

https://graph.facebook.com/your-name-here

Here you will see the ID. Copy this and put in EasyBlog. Hope this helps.

Thanks!

Hello Derek,

Sorry about that, but the method is almost the same as Adelene mentioned just that you need to set the app id in Settings > Social Integrations > Facebook

Hello Derek,

When I debugged your site earlier it was working. Did you turned on the gzip compression? You need to turn that off because for some reasons when gzip compression is enabled, Facebook is unable to connect to the site.

I just tried to post a new discussion but don't hit any errors. Are you trying to push this to a Facebook page or a Facebook profile? I can't test this as I don't have the access to your Facebook account but I was able to submit a discussion without any issues as opposed to earlier though.
