I would like to use a glossary on my website but it is not working in any SI component...
I contacted the developers:
@Supporter

You need to enable call to content plugin for these extensions.

https://stackideas.com/forums/possible-to-have-joomla-content-plugin-working-in-easyblog

may be this will help.

please ask them to how to enable joomla content plugin call in there extension.once content plugin is there everything work smoothly.

I need to get this working with EasyBlog, EasyDiscuss, Easysocial and possibly Komento

Thank you
EasyBlog and EasyDiscuss does trigger content plugins but not Komento and EasySocial. Unfortunately it wouldn't make sense for Komento and EasySocial to render content plugins. Not only does it slow things down, it really serves no purpose.

Hello Mark,

I understand for Komento and Easysocial, and you can see I wrote "possibly" because I wasn't too sure myself to enable this in ES or Komento.

Tooltip with glossary is showing in EB and ED but only in original post/question.
I can live without this in EB-comments(native* EB comments)/ED-replies (native*) but I would like to know if it could be enabled or not because usually the replies are from people knowing and explaining to others who are learning. Answers and comments might contain words/terms that need a definition for newbie users. Do you understand what I mean... ?

*native: meaning from the component built in system not from an external component like Komento

PS:

Ok, for EasyDiscuss it seems I need to refresh the page more than once and the tooltips display in the answer. Solved for ED.

My question only remains for EB native comments. Would it be too consuming and slow down things too much?

Yes, imagine one of the blog post have 1000 comments, when the user browse this blog post, the system will check whether there got any 3rd party content plugin would like to display something on these 1000 comments.

If there got the content plugin would like to display something on these comments area, it will trigger this content plugin to get the final comment content and display on the page, it will some time to process this.
