Hi Team,

Just found the language file for EasySocial 1.2.14 in /language/ folder, size just doubled. form 3K+ rows > 6K+ rows. Can somebody explain what have been modified? Starting this version, is ES combine all their language strings into a single file ?

We have done all translation from our team previously and I guess we need some hints for us to easily move strings from other files to the new one. Please advise and thanks.

We have merged all the custom fields and apps language file to the site's language file. The reasons?

1. We get performance gain by about 40% of page load time. In short, your page loads 40% faster all the time

2. You only need to translate lesser files now

Hi Mark,

Thank for the effort and performance concern for continuous improvement for the programs. Further may I just confirm those files for "custom fields and apps" includes below files:

/administrator/language/en-GB.plg_app_*.ini
/administrator/language/en-GB.plg_fields_*.ini
(anything still missing?)

Since I found those files /administrator/language/en-GB.plg_app* and _fields still at the same location after the upgrade. Do I still need to keep those files or it still required for backend access?

Hello Alfred,

Those files are no longer used anymore, you can delete them if you want. We just let users download those automatically so that it is backwards compatible
