Hi everybody,

the ES-Login-Box has an empty frame with a light border on the top, which I can´t remove.
I tried to change css, but I can´t fix it.

Here is an image:

This border shows up on the ES-pages as well as on the external pages with the log-box as a module.
How can this be fixed? It just looks awfull ...

All the best, Julian!
Hi Julian,

Can you try to add the following css code inside your custom.css and see how it goes?
div#fd.es.mod-es-logbox .es-login-box {
border: 0;
padding: 0;
}
div#fd.es .es-login-box:before {
background-color: none;
}

Hi Ezrul,

it works on the module, but not on the ES-own pages.
Is there a way to deactivate the ES-own login-box and ONLY use the module? This would be easier to admin, because in the moment I have to activate the module ONLY on non-ES pages, else it appears double.

All the best, Julian!

Hi Julian,

Can you remove the css code above and replace it with the new one instead and see how it goes.
div#fd.es .es-login-box {
border: 0;
padding: 0;
}

div#fd.es .es-login-box:before {
background-color: none;
}

For your second inquiry, kindly download my attachment below and place it inside your /modules/mod_easysocial_logbox/ folder and see how it goes.

Hi Ezrul,

the logbox is still present on the ES-pages, even after placing your new php-file.
Any other ideas?

All the best, Julian!

You can turn off the login box for the dashboard view in the theme settings. Go to themes > wireframe > dashboard and turn off the option "Display Login Screen for Guests".

Hi Mark,

that´s great, exactly the feature that I need.

Unfortunatelly ... something seems weired. I turned it off, and now on the community-dashboard the module (!) is not shown anymore. On all other pages it is shown, only on the dashboard it is hidden.

I checked everything, even the module-appearance and the acl. When I turn the name of the module on, the name shows up. So the module is definitely published, just the content is not shown. Is it possible, when I turn off the login-box on the dashboard, that also the login in the module is not shown anymore?

All the best, Julian!

The module is entirely independent of the theme settings. Where did you position the module?

Hi Mark,

ok, you are right in this point: No matter about the setting, the login-box inside of the module does not show up.

About the position, maybe this is quicker:
I have published it on ALL pages and it also shows up on ALL pages EXZEPT of the Community-dashboard.
But when I set the module to show the title of the module, the title is shown. For me it looks like the module itself shows up, but it has no content.

Might there be a reason for the module to not show any content when published on the ES-Dashboard?

All the best, Julian!

There is no reason for the module to not show up unless the user is already logged in (based on what I am seeing from the codes).

Hi Mark,

this time you haven´t had your code in mind. Look, what I found accidentially:

// Do not render this module in login page or dashboard page so that it wont have duplicate login form.
if ($option == 'com_easysocial' && ($view == 'dashboard' || $view == 'login')) {
return;
}

I guess, the module will show up as soon as I remove this lines.
Maybe it makes sense to change this IF-option, so the module will only be blocked if the dashboard-module is REALLY shown.

But this brings me to another small issue, that I would like to solve.
There is no way to change the default-option of "remember me" to "checked".
I didn´t find the way in the code. Could you give me a hint?

All the best, J ulian!

You can add the checked="checked" in the checkbox
