If android mobile user write a comments with emoticon in timeline ??? the problem not present if use iphone
I checked and in the database saved ???? but in the notifications mail the emoji look correct
Hi Guido,

I've tested this issue locally it seems I cannot reproduce this issue where I've tested to add emoticon in my status it shows fine http://take.ms/UvzuR

Is it possible for you to provide us with the back end, phpMyAdmin and FTP access to your site to check on this issue?

You can add the information needed by edit your first post in the Details section or you can just include your site's access once at http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site rather than needing to keep adding them in your replies

I would prefer not to provide these access data in this moment.
I have added the login data of a "registered" user on first post in this discussion.
You can try to enter a comment with mobile device?

What other information do you need? I confirm that when saving the comment is saved ??????
Maybe a file encryption problem with ftp or db?

Hi Guido,

It is quite difficult to troubleshoot the issue where it may be varies issue that causing it according to the certain site environment
without have a better view on the db and files itself.
I believe that you are using latest version of EasySocial isn't it? this troubleshoot might be takes time but can you help me check the #_social_stream table in your db and see the content structure and check the collation that has been used? https://www.screencast.com/t/6NRqS59q

Hi Guido,

Perhaps, can you try to paste the emoji here: ?
and paste to the stream item that I've created id=803 (social_stream) table and see you can paste the emoji correctly or you got some popup error.

Sorry for the confusing Guido as my emoticon was not shows in the reply.
Can you follow the step that I've made in this video, see perhaps your database was compatible to insert the android emoji or not.
Go to this site:
https://getemoji.com/

copy one of the emoji
go to your database table social_stream and paste the emoji in one of the stream item, maybe you can use my testing stream item with id=803 as I mention previously.
Refer this video: http://take.ms/WxHwX
If you are not able to paste the emoji, it seems something wrong with your database.

Hi Guido,

I believe EasyDiscuss (we are using EasyDiscuss in our forum yes) is not yet support smartphone emoji.By the way thanks for the report.
But now your issue is in EasySocial where already support for smartphone emoji, do you already tested as my video shown?
