We have an issue with emoticons/emojis that we can't figure out. Sometimes when we use on in Komento (let's say heart for the example) it will display the heart image when published and other times it will just show the code (heart) when published. See attached screenshots.
Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

What I can see your screenshot is shown during editing process right? If that is the case, actually that is correct behavior when you edit the comment, it will only show the code similar like 'quote'. Once you save again, it will convert to show the correct content without the code.

Or do you mean this only happen after edit comment save? Because I did tried in my locally, it seems fine for me.

Perhaps you can try replicate this on your licensed support domain and see if you still can manage to replicate the issue so you can update your licensed domain site backend and FTP access at https://stackideas.com/dashboard/site so we can better have a check?

It 100% happens after the comment is saved. As seen here: https://www.happyhippoherbals.com/blog/fastest-kratom-for-sale#comment-124,112

I've updated the details on the original post for login information.

Oh that was known issue, it seems like we already fixed this in internally, we will push another new release soon.

Since that fix involved the JavaScript so unable to provide you the direct fix, because it required to re-compile the whole Komento script.

Do take note, after you update Komento next version, it will not fix those issue directly, you have to re-edit the comment and re-save it again, so it will store the correct parsed content into database.
