Hi, I would like to embed the html code for a mailchimp newsletter signup in an EasyBlog post.

The code already exists in a module on the site but would like to use it in a post so I can share.

Any way of doing it?

Thanks
Hey Chris,

Thanks for the heads up on this. Yeah, it will be nice if scripts are allowed but site owners need to understand the danger of allowing users to embed scripts :x

It's like a time bomb, if any hackers try to embed a script on your site, you could easily get yourself into trouble

Ah, just found the option to add html code!

Post now displays correctly but the form submit button isn't operating. Any ideas?

Thanks

Hey Chris,

Is there javascripts in the html codes? The HTML block doesn't allow you to store script tags. It only processes purely html codes.

Thanks for the reply Mark.

It's just standard html code but does include the submit function.

I have worked round it by creating a standard Joomla article and using a plugin to allow me to incorporate the html code and it's now working fine.

It would have been better to have managed to produce it as an EasyBlog post but my client still has the functionality she wanted so all good.

Thanks
