Embed video different sizes Blog/Blog List

Hello SI Team

I embed a video here:

Using the Standard EB Embed video tool.
I set the dimensions to 800 times 450.

This works fine in the Blog list mode:

But has a different size here:

http://finalbug.net/blog/entry/404-in-depth-3d-titles-fcpx-10-2-part-1-of-3

Please advise. This is driving me nuts

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

Also please note what happens to Featured items and Recent Items
If there is a video and no image then:
Featured shows with text only & no image
Recent does not show at all...

It seems like you are using image wall module as your recent post module. Image wall module only fetch the blog post that contain image only instead of video. If you want to display image post and video post I advise you to use latest blog post module and disable all the parameters except for image and video display.

For the featured item showcase, it is not possible for the system to fetch the embedded blog video url as image currently. It require different algorithm in order to fetch the image for the video.

All I have is one missing letter at the bottom at the start of my post.
Apart from this things seem to be OK!

Regarding on the video and image different in size, I've checked the dimension size for the following blog entry, http://finalbug.net/blog/entry/404-in-depth-3d-titles-fcpx-10-2-part-1-of-3 and image are displaying in the same as your frontpage blog listing (800x450). Refer screenshot here, http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-05-15_1212.png . I'm not quite sure why it is not the same size in your perspective side. The same goes with another blog entry (eg. http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-05-15_1218.png )

I am sorry to bang on about this but I need to go and try and get the JCE workflow to work again.
There are more problems than solutions here!!!

Here is the break down. I have 3 types of posts and no matter what I do nothing gives me consistant results.

The only thing that comes close is the JCE thing!

EG 01: Here is a Blog post:

It consists of a video and I get a preview of the video on the Blog list
Also in the size in which I embedded it.

EG 02: Here is a Blog post:

It consists of images and I have a preview of the fist image on the Blog list page.

For what ever reason tis image is schrinked down from a width of 800 pixels to some thing that looks more like 500 pixels!!!

But that is another thread!

Any way back on topic apart from the width issues this is also OK.

EG 03: Here is a Blog post:

It consists of video AND images and I have a preview of the video AND fist image on the Blog list page.

I hate to say this but this makes no sense.

I understand that I can go to the EB Layout settings and switch the image preview off for the EB list view…

But then I lose the image preview for the likes of:

If I have it switched on I have a double image preview for the likes of

Also another thing that I am noticing is the recent blog post do not show if there is only a video in the post.
Also the featured items do not show an image in the slide show if there is also only an.

Please help me get this JCE thing to work until EB 5 is here!!!
