Hello,
I would like to add a Prezi link in my post by inserting HTML but I can't use the HTML block. What do I need to do?
Thanks
Your site is still not on development mode. I have changed it to development mode now. Please purge your browser's cache and try again.

Hey Gary,

There seems to be an issue with the HTML block when running on compressed mode. Try setting EasyBlog on development mode temporarily to use the html block.

Hello,
I switched to development mode and it allowed me to insert the HTML block initially, but now it's not working again. I can't place the block.

Hey Gary,

Is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to your site to check on this issue? Also, please provide us with the code that you are trying to embed.

You did not provide us with the code that you are trying to embed so I am not too sure what you want me to try here.

I sent an email to the person who was trying to add the code. They are supposed to be giving it to you. Sorry for the holdup!

Hi Gary,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply.

I just tried to access your administrator page via the following url, http://www.sewingworkshop.com/administrator but it will always redirected me to your frontpage. By the way it seems like you are using older version of easyblog. Can you try to update your easyblog to version 5.0.31 first and see how it goes?

Can you please temporarily disable the IP address checks until we finish checking on your issue? I personally do use my own time at home to check on our forums as well and my ip address is different.

Anyway this is our current office IP Address, 175.142.158.174

I whitelisted your office IP and temporarily turned off admin IP limitations. If you send me your home IP I'll whitelist you there, too. We get several hundred attacks a day on our sites, I hate to leave the admin too unprotected for long.

Hey Gary,

I just tried to post a new blog post on the site with the iframe code and it works fine, http://www.sewingworkshop.com/new-blog/test-embed-codes

Am I missing anything here?

I must be missing something. I can see what you posted but I cannot duplicate it. Did you use an HTML block and paste in the code? I still can't place an HTML block on my draft.

By the way, all our subscribers were notified of your test post. Could you please turn off that notification option before you post again so they don't get another email?

Hey Gary,

Yep, I did this by dropping a HTML block in the composer and pasting the iframe codes on the right column.

Mark,

Well, we've tried on 3 different Macs here, Firefox, Chrome and Safari. The HTML block will not appear when we place it. It just disappears. It also doesn't show up under the Blocks tab and we click "Show full tree".

I'm enclosing a screen shots to help you see what we see. I'd be glad to screen share with you if you like to see what it is doing through Messages if you like.

Hey Gary,

Can you temporarily turn on development mode in EasyBlog? I believe there is a known issue for the HTML block when running on compressed mode.

Thanks for updating Gary We're still finding a way to resolve this. This is a pretty tough nut to crack.
