We are using EasyDiscuss to create a Forum based knowledge-base on the Catalina 30 sailboat. So far, things have gone well but one of our users has asked something we should have thought about before we started.
Can we embed a picture in text.
As much of this site will be instructions. putting a picture in the middle of text is a huge advantage.

Can we do that and how????

David
Yes, you can actually using Joomla default editor Tiny-mce to achieve this as well, you can check my video here : http://take.ms/1u1pj

But the way you add the image you have to go through the media manager in order to insert the image into the content.

I will suggest you to use JCE editor, once you installed you can configure to use this editor from backend > Easydiscuss > setting > general > default editor , can you give it a check my attached screenshot is it this you want?

Thanks for your fast reply but I am not certain I understand your response. Are you saying that with JCE Editer installed, I will be able to put a picture into the text I am typing right now as simply as finding that picture of my drive and copying and then pasting it into this response>
