Hi I have spent some time this morning trying to embed a facebook video into my blog and just can't seem to crack it.... - we are using JCE editor

Here is the video string https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=10152731269585267

Can we do this - get more and more demand to bring things from social media back to the websites so I need to learn how.

Cheers,

Peter Beare
Hi Peter Beare,

Sorry for late reply to this,

Unfortunately that was not possible in current version of Easyblog.

Perhaps you can always request this feature from our voice page http://stackideas.com/voices/easyblog

Thanks Alex - you might want to consider this stat:

Growth in video views exceeded 50% from May through July of this year, and since June there has been an average of more than 1 billion video views on Facebook every day. Video on Facebook was built to be mobile first, and now more than 65% of video views are on mobile.Sep 7, 2014

Imagine how much your product could benefit from being able to show facebook videos (someone else is doing the hard work and you get to share on your website...

I will leave it up to you guys to decide whether this would be added to a wish list in the future.

Cheers,

Peter

Hello Peter,

Thanks for the heads up on this and we appreciate this very much. We'll see if we can implement this on EasyBlog 5 but temporarily, please do submit this in the appropriate feature request area so everyone else could vote for it

Hello Salvatore,

We have not really seen much request of having to embed Facebook videos and this is why it hasn't been implemented yet.
