Hi,

We have searched in the forums to see if it is possible to send mass mails to all our users in easysocial. We did find an old post (2014) which stated that it wasn't possible.

Is this functionality still not available?

Thanks
Carly

Hi Ezrul,

Do you know how your other clients go about mailing all of their members?
For example if they needed to tell all members about a new feature - how would they go about doing this.

Thanks
Carly

hey Carly,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

Perhaps you can try using "Broadcast Popup" or "Broadcast Notification" posted from Superadmin on Easysocial dashboard.

So all of your site user will receive this announcement on their Easysocial page or system notification.

Hope this will help.

Hi Arlex,

Thanks for the reply.
Could you explain how to get to the broadcast screen as we have looked around but cannot seem to find it antwhere.
Is it accessed through the frontend or backend?

Thanks
Carly

Hi Arlex,

Sorry, another question.

We have set up a broadcast for registered users but when a registered user logs in it displays the broadcast in the stream.
Should it actually appear as a popup window to make sure the user sees it?

Thanks for all your help

Carly

Hello Carly,

Yes, it will be in the stream also you should see something like this if you wait a little longer: http://screencast.com/t/GdVJV3RTy5F8 . Make sure you are logged in as a different user than the user that posted the announcement.
