Firstly, we're sorry that we do not have enough resources to testing using samsung s5
However, I've tested this mail notification using my android phone (xiaomi redmi note 3 and pixel) it seems to render the email correctly.
Here, we noticed that your gmail app UI kinda different from ours (we are using gmail version 7.10) Perhaps, can you check the version of your gmail app? if need to be update, would you mind to update it as well?

thanks for the support looking for null settings, gmail enables default 'option as in photo. Disabling it is all right.
