Hello,

I'd like to change the color of the blue hyperlinks in my EasySocial email notifications.

Can you tell me the file name to edit for the below email subject lines:

-[User] mentioned you in a post
-[User] posted a comment on an update
-[User] posted a comment on a profile picture

*Is there a way to make edits at a global level to impact ALL Email templates?
Hi there,

Please find your inquiries below.

I'd like to change the color of the blue hyperlinks in my EasySocial email notifications.

You can edit them here http://take.ms/NAPlWa accordingly. You need to edit them on the emails itself as those styling are done on the emails itself.

Can you tell me the file name to edit for the below email subject lines:

You can refer string listed below. But you can find those translation at this path language/your_current_language/your_current_language.com_easysocial.ini

APP_USER_PHOTOS_EMAILS_COMMENT_PROFILE_PICTURE_INVOLVED_SUBJECT="{actor} posted a comment on a profile picture"

APP_GROUP_STORY_EMAILS_COMMENT_ITEM_INVOLVED_TITLE="{actor} posted a comment on an update"

COM_EASYSOCIAL_EMAILS_USER_MENTIONED_YOU_IN_A_POST_SUBJECT="{actor} mentioned you in a post"

*Is there a way to make edits at a global level to impact ALL Email templates?

You can edit this template.php http://take.ms/tP6tp for Easysocial main template.

Please give it a check and see how it goes.

Hello Warith,

I know how to edit the templates. My problem is that I can't locate the specific templates that generate the notifications with those subject lines. The descriptions in the template list are not that accurate.

Hi there,

Oh, sorry for my confusion on above reply.

Most of them are handle by apps itself and not listed You need to change them at path listed below.

-[User] posted a comment on a profile picture
.../media/com_easysocial/apps/user/photos/themes/default/emails/comment.photo.involved.php

-[User] posted a comment on an update
.../media/com_easysocial/apps/group/story/themes/default/emails/comment.involved.php

-[User] mentioned you in a post
.../components/com_easysocial/themes/wireframe/emails/profile/post.mentions.php or manually edit them on emails template on your backend http://take.ms/5g2qv

Please give it a try and see how it goes.

Hi there,

For the first two you can refer to our documentation here https://stackideas.com/docs/easysocial/administrators/templating/overriding-app-theme

The path should be as listed below.

/templates/<YOUR_JOOMLA_TEMPLATE>/html/com_easysocial/apps/user/photos/default/emails/comment.photo.involved.php

/templates/<YOUR_JOOMLA_TEMPLATE>/html/com_easysocial/apps/group/story/default/emails/comment.involved.php

Please give it a try and see how it goes.

Hello, one of the templates is still not correct. I believe the problem is a mismatch between the email subject and the message content.

The template we are looking to change arrives with an email subject of "Mary Smith posted a comment on your update" and has actual message content of "Mary Smith just posted a comment on your status".

Can you identify which template file this is?

Thank You.
