Email subscriptions sending multiple messages / Twitter posting not working

Hi,

My name is Alex Silva, I installed EasyBlog around two months ago and the basic functionality of the blog works fine. You can see it here: http://sgfotografos.com. I recently enabled the email subscription option and proceded to subscribe to my blog using a personal email address.

My first problem is: Whenever a post is published I receive multiple email notifications about a new blog post. The first time it was around 3 messages, then 5 and today I received 64 notifications related to one post and 32 about another one.

What can I do so that it only sends one mesage?

Second problem: I enabled automatic publishing on Facebook and Twitter, enabling bitly. The posts show up on Facebook and bitly shortens the link, saving it as a bitlink, but the posts don't show up on Twitter.

What can I do so that the posts show up on Twitter?

I'm running a multilingual site (en-GB, es-ES) using
Joomla 3.3.6
PHP 5.3.28
EasyBlog 3.9.18613
MySQLi 5.1.68-cll-lve

Regarding with your first issues received multiple email notification :
>> May i know did you setup the cronjob in your site yet? If no, that was because you are using "send email via page load" feature in your site.
>> And follow this documentation and set up the cronjob in your site -> http://stackideas.com/docs/easyblog/how-tos/setting-up-cronjobs-in-cpanel
>> So every time your system process the email will follow the cronjob time interval.

Regarding with your second issues the blog post not autopost to Twitter :

Oh, I see. Tell you what, let me try again setting up the cronjobs and I'll let you know how it went. If I still face these issues I'll come back with all my access details.
