I have setup my account and trying to configure the email so they are sent out on user registration but I am getting a message: Notice Could not instantiate mail function.

I need a person to receive an email with the profile details they have inputted and also after I approve their access.
Hey Alex,

It is most likely that your mail settings are incorrect and you need to set the correct email settings in Joomla's Global Configuration.

If you are unsure what settings you should be using for the mail configuration, you should check this with your hosting provider

Thank you. Also how can i be notified after someone requests access? Currently I have to log in to view that someone has requested to be a part of the group, but I would need myself and one other person that can monitor the new signups by getting notifications to both of our personal email accounts.

Hey Alex,

When a new user requests to join a group, EasySocial performs the following:

1. Sends a system notification (The bubble counter in the toolbar)

2. Sends out an email.

You can use either of the methods described above to get updates when someone tries to request to join a group.

By the way, please remember to assign your domain to your license to obtain for support in the future. You can do so by accessing your license area at http://stackideas.com/dashboard
