Dear support,

Hope everything is fine.

We are facing a weird issue that we cannot find out how this came up. We switched from PHP mail to SMTP and we continue to receive correctly the new email notifications on the creation of new blogs at our main email used by the admin. But in a weird way, emails are sent to another email address as well and we cannot understand how this email address got there. The email address belongs to one member of our team that used it to create one test user in the past. This test user was deleted months ago but suddenly when we switched to SMTP mail, on every new blog post email notifications are sent to this address as well as you can see in the attached photo. The emails address is bluekalia...

Is there an option in the backend for the email notification recipients that we missed?

Regards,
Hey Phivos,

It looks like the email is located under the "Subscriptions" area at the back end of EasyBlog This is why he is getting an email because he is subscribed to the blog

Hey Phivos,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is actually a public day off for us here. If the user is a site admin, EasySocial will also send an email to them depending on what actions.

You should check your users listing and see if his / her email address is associated with an account on the site?

Dear Mark,

We have already checked and the email is not listed in any user. The admins do not have this email address. This email was used for a user created in the past and that has been deleted more than a month ago. It is very weird how this email address appeared there.

Please check the photo below. We performed a search in the users' manager and no such email is traced. Is there a setting where we set on which email addresses this new blog post notification has to be sent?

The issue is not urgent. Leave it for next week. Have a nice day off. Thank you.

Regards,
