Hello,
Email parsing on my EasyDiscuss enabled site is not happening properly. It was working fine but after previous (or before), it stopped working. It says it is processing it but it retrieves only 1 email everytime. There are definitely more than 50-100 emails that are not brought in.

Also auto email parsing is not happening as well. I enabled the cron job but that is taking lot of resources and got i got warnings from my hosting provider.

Please advise on how to fix these..

Can you provide us with backend access, ftp access and cPanel access so that we can assist you on this issue much quicker. Actually we need this access so that we can debug and test your issue on your site.

Thanks for the response. I shall send these details. Is there is a private message facility that i can use to send the site details..

Also, before that if needed i can send you screen shots. Please let me know if that works and what screen shots you would need.

Sorry for late reply to this,
I have tried to check "TEST CONNECTION" from your Easydiscuss backend, but i getting this :

[CLOSED] IMAP connection broken (server response)

It seems like an issue with the IMAP setup. Can you make sure the following point is it set correct?
1) The information you entered is correct
2) IMAP host specified is accessible.
3) Try setting up GMail IMAP to confirm if it is not an issue with the software or server.

Please advise.

Thanks for checking. I am not using IMAP. It should be POP3 only. Every time i change it to POP3, it gets reset to IMAP. Here is the screen shot with POP3 and it works just fine .. Is there any way i can force it to us POP3 only?

Focus on your main issues first, when i tried to send a discussion post via email, it work fine, but I'm not very sure why the system will go through 3 times on your account (First time - discuss@xxx.com , second time - discuss@xxx.com . third time - xxx@xxx.com)

That was my earlier question why it is taking 2 different email ids. I should take the one in email field and start parsing it. As i said earlier, my earlier email id was goodreads@onlyerp.com and new one is discuss@onlyerp.com. Not sure where it is picking up 2 email ids

Yes, everyone can see the screenshot, i have help you removed.

It seems like multiple email address shown out is because you set your backend > Easydiscuss > Categories > Good reads > check my screenshot below categories email parser to another email address, normally you will not set the email parser at this categories particular setting, because the email parser only can set through unique category, i have help you disabled all the option you set to YES from the categories email parser, now it will not shown out multiple email.

Also, I'm still investigate on this when i click on the TEST CONNECTION then hitting this

Because I have checked your database is stored "POP3".

however, can you check POP3 setting is it set correctly from your mail server as well?

Thank Arlex. I see that you have disabled the category email parser. Thats fine. I disabled the category completely. Now i see only one email id in the parser. My CRONTAB is also looking good.

Can i request you to delete all the latest images as well.

Email parsing seems to work fine. I had got your id activated again. My admin locked it as this was temp account.

Can i request you check the email parser and let me know.
