Hello

One of the main reasons we went with EasyDiscuss is the email parsing facility. Along with EasySocial and Payplans the bundle seems perfect for our needs.
Email parsing is an important aspect of how we operate. .

In the category set up there is an option for a seperate/different email address for parsing which I cannot get to work.

I have only just seen in the documentation that email parsing is only available on one category.
Is this still case?

Is so this is a major game changer for us. :-(

Regards
David
Hi David,

I tried the category email parser on my local instance and it's working. This also means you can use different email addresses for email parsing for each category.
When trying out the category parser in my local instance, I only set the mail server info in the main settings, not the email account.

As for why it's not working on your end, we will have to test it out and investigate.

Hi

Well thats a relief that it should be working.

I have an email account entered in the main settings page under mail server settings so I will try it with this removed and and just use email addresses in the individual categories.

Is that what you mean?

David

Hey David,

Yes that's what I mean when I tried on my side. If it's still not working, maybe try your category email on the main setting. This is to make sure there's nothing wrong on the email account side.

Hello

Just to say that this seems to be working now but I have to have an email address in the main 'Email Parser' settings as well as the different categories.

To be honest, I am not 100% sure how it started working as I tried many diffferent configurations!
