Have just installed Komento.

Having some trouble setting it up. When I enabled email notifications, they came to me at webmaster@crownest.info, but also came to the other super user. I would like the notifications to come to me only.
May i know what email notification you referring? Is it when someone add new comment on article page, so it will notify to 2 superadmin user on your site?

Can you provide us with your Joomla backend so we can better have a check?

it seems like you provided that login user account is no longer working.

By the way, can you try check another superuser user account from backend, make sure this user account do not have enabled that "received system emails".

Thanks Arlex for your prompt response.
Your suggestion to disable "receive system emails from one user account" solved the problem

It seems I was a bit premature. The disabling of system emails did not work.

hey there,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply,

I did tried in my locally, it seems work fine if I disable that "system received email" from that superuser account.

Perhaps you can update your Joomla backend and FTP access at http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site so we can better have a check?

Hi Alex

I may have solved the problem after all.
I have had a lot of difficulty finding my way around Komento. It is obviously a well-regarded and powerful program.
However for a newbie like me, looking at this sort of extension for the first time, it has been a rocky road of trial and error finding out how to choose the many settings.
I did not understand that I did not need to choose any notification recipients, because I did not understand what a content author or a subscriber was.
Choosing to activate “Notify content author” and setting up a special User called “Comments” caused the most recent blip. Since I have deactivated “Live Notifications” and disabled that User, the problem seems to have disappeared.

The help tips (?) did not help mel – they did not define the term, but merely repeated it. It would have been useful if there had been a general description of how the program worked, and then some sort of glossary of each of the technical terms.
I think the program will be of great use to me, so I will keep working on getting a better understanding of it.
Regards
Grahame

Hey Grahame,

What is the different between content author and subscriber is :

1. Content Author
>> This actually referring the article owner.

2. Subscriber
>> if the user comment on one of the article page, there got an option allow user to choose whether they want to subscribe on this article so that when someone else comment on this article, it will get notified new comment added on this article.

The "Live Notifications" is actually it will show a notification pop up on the page, you can check my attached screenshot below.

By the way, may i know you still having this issue?
