Email notifications pointing to 404 pages

Hello,

This is happening again: A notification of a new post in the forum sent by email is pointing to a 404.
If the user is logged in and has access to that forum, everything works.
How can I prevent this? The link should point to the login page instead.

I've checked the menu items and don't see anthing wrong.

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as we are heavily occupied with development work currently.

Hm, seems like when I tried to access your administrator page it will redirected me to your frontpage. May I know what is the correct url to access your administrator page?

By the way I just tried to access into the discussion by using the discussion url directly and then tried to logged in but seems like everything is working correctly from my end. Not really sure how can I reproduce this issue.

It's not pointing to a 404 anymore, but it's also not redirecting the user to the right page after login.

STEP 2 : It ask me login first

STEP 3 : After login it redirect to this page https://www.portal-gestao.com/f%C3%B3rum-perguntas-e-respostas/partilha-de-quadro-informativo.html

For that particular link, it all works ok.
But I just got another notification email where the button is pointing to: https://www.portal-gestao.com/discussions/curso-excel-para-gest%C3%A3o.html
This is pointing to the forum Front Page, before and after login.

By right this 'discussion' url should use this -> fórum-perguntas-e-respostas , instead of 'discussion'.

If this post still exist, can you provide us with your Joomla backend URL so I can check from your backend regarding this issue?

Hey Nuno,

I've changed your Easydiscuss SEO setting from backend, you can take a look of my attached screenshot below.

Then I tried to submit a test reply from this post https://www.portal-gestao.com/f%C3%B3rum-perguntas-e-respostas/curso-excel-para-gest%C3%A3o.html , then I received the reply email notification, then it point me to correct page when I click reply button from my mailbox.

The post link should not show this -> https://www.portal-gestao.com/discussions/curso-excel-para-gest%C3%A3o.html

Can you try using another user reply on the same thread and see how it goes? Make sure you have subscribed that post discussion or replied before on that post thread.

Hi,

The button link is working fine, as long as the user is logged in.
If he's logged out, the link points to a page with a login form, which returns: "Invalid token".
I tried around 30 times with 2 different users, and always got this error.

Hello,

I just checked again and it isn't possible to reach the forum posts by logging in and navigating to the forum normally.
When the page is supposed to open, users are getting: "Invalid token".
