I have installed the latest version of Easy Social and Easy blog and I've saved the cron jobs in Cpanel. Easy Social emails are processed correctly. In the Mail Pool is no entry stored, if I leave a blog comment. Likewise, the administrator receives not a notification email when somebody has a new blog created. Notify admin on new entries is in the settings on YES. When i use the email plugin, the same results.
It would be great to have your support.
regards,
Martin
Hi,

I am really sorry for the late reply because I've missed your post earlier.
Currently we're in a very tight schedule for development. After a quite long debug, I have found out that currently EasySocial comments in EasyBlog doesn't send email notification. It only notifies the author and the participant through system notification. I believe this is a bug from our end and I am sorry, there is no quick fix on this issue. I have informed our developers regarding this and I believe this issue will be fixed in the next releases of EasySocial.

There is also a bug on system notification in which it doesn't follow the new comment API. However, it is a simple fix and here I have attached to you a file, please download this file and put it in your site here: ...\components\com_easyblog\helpers\easysocial.php .

Regarding your screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/nAdKZzKOY2m , I believe this settings is used by the user that comment on Easyblog built in comment system. While in this screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/sjFnngPgpN4 , these options is for the user who has commented on Stream item in Easysocial.

About the new blog post, I have tested this on your site and it seems to be working correctly as it should be. The email notification of a new blog post was sent to administrator and the EasySocial stream is created as well.

I am really sorry for the confusion and for the really late reply. If you have anymore question, please don't hesitate to ask us.
Hope this will help.
Thanks.

Hello Martin,

I've tried to access your backend but I got this: Username and password do not match or you do not have an account yet. Please advise.

Hi Martin,

I am sorry for the late reply.
I can't replicate this issue with your site. I have created a new blogpost and I have received the email notification from your site successfully. Here my screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/zotOlHSj9di and http://screencast.com/t/2vdLb1TsM.

By the way, it seems like your EasyBlog is using EasySocial commenting system (integration with EasySocial commenting system). EasySocial comment is behaving just the same as EasySocial where if you likes the comment and if you tag a person in your comment, it will also give notification in EasySocial and email notification. I also have tested commenting using build-in EasyBlog comment and the notification was send successfully. Here my screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/quuv6IayIkDI .

Perhaps I'm missing steps to reproduce this issue on your site.
Please advise.
Thanks.

Hi Mohd Yasser
Thank you for the reply.
The answer is not satisfactory. Today I have several blog entries posted and I have left some comments, so through various member account. Only in one case, a notification email has been sent to the administrator. Subscribing to a blog was also confirmed by email to the user. All other activities were reported with no email. (see screenshot) Also, the user 'temp' got no notification email if someone has left a comment in his blog. In addition, there was no stream entry in easysocial created when a new blog comment was created. Please, look closely at the problem again. Did i set up the EasySocial settings for EasyBlog wrong? What is the cause for this problem?
Best regards,
Martin

Hi Martin,

I am sorry for the late reply and not explaining it well.
1. The administrator receives not a notification email when somebody has a new blog created
>> I have tried create a blogpost in EasyBlog, and it seems like it is working correctly as it should be. The email notification was sent and the EasySocial stream is created as well.

2. Also, the user 'temp' got no notification email if someone has left a comment in his blog.
>> EasySocial comments integrates with EasyBlog currently doesn't send email notification to user/subscriber. The settings in EasyBlog > Settings > Notifications > Comments, only worked with EasyBlog build-in comment. Hence, that the reason why there is no email notification sent/received. You can test this using EasyBlog build-in comments and see if the comment notification sent.

3. There was no stream entry in easysocial created when a new blog comment was created.
>> If you comments using EasySocial comments in EasyBlog, it doesn't get streams in EasySocial since it is already EasySocial comment. It would be a duplication if the comments are streams in the dashboard.

I hope that I have explained it well. If you have anymore question, please don't hesitate to ask us.
Hope this will help.
Thanks.

Hi Mohd Yasser
First Happy new year!

I'm confused.
In the EasySocial user notification settings, for example, there is selected under ' Comments on blog post system' alerts on YES and e-mail on YES. See screenshot. As user TEMP i left a comment on the blog from User INSTITUTE FOR MINDFULNESS. Result, the user INSTITUTE FOR MINDFULNESS did not receives a notification by email and a system alert. Likewise, the administrator did not getting email notification.

I have also created today a new blog post as user INSTITUTE FOR MINDFULNESS. The Administrator did not received email notification.

I do not understand why the user notification settings offered in ES and EB only partially work. What worked for example, User X likes your comment - see screenshot.

In ES and EB what settings do I need to set in order for the notifications to work properly? I need your advise

Martin
