Hi
When I checked Email Activities, the emails have been sent out. But I haven't received any emails.
I used SSH to triger the activities:
wget -O /dev/null "http://domain/index.php?option=com_easydiscuss&task=cron"

Does EasyDiscuss use the same credential that Joomla use in Global Configuration.
We have another component that use the same settings in Global Configuration ( using SMTP mail) and it works fine for that component.

I have checked the spam box but the email isn't there.

Any idea>?

I believe your issues are resolved now as per our conversation on skype In case anyone else out there is wondering what this issue is all about, it's because if you are using the SMTP configuration in Joomla's Global Configuration, you need to ensure that the sender email in EasyDiscuss settings > Notifications matches the sender smtp address.

Can you remotely login to my machine and we will SSH from mine?
Do you use teamviewer or web-ex for the remote session?

Perhaps you can provide us with your Joomla backend first?

And can you do some testing from your SSH access cronmail response?

Set :

MAILTO=youremailaddress@hotmail.com


And see what server response to you that result.

How can I send you private message with login info?
I don't understand when you said adding MAILTO to cronmail
there is only: /etc/crontab and I didn't setup anything in crontab.

I use curl to kick off the EasyDiscuss Cron via its own URL

Hi
I attempted to upgrade the site the latest, but the questions' title and description are all blank.
I tried to create new one but it is also blank.
I checked in ADMIN, all questions are there. just the frontpage show blank question/title.
I can't download older version from my account, it says I have to contact support

I have overrite the PHP file from previous version and it came back to live
