I have a question regarding email notifications for registered users only.
All our sites have a public news category and a members news category.
For the members news they need to login to view the members post.
When they get an email notification for the members news and click on the link to view the post they are sent to the login page (which they should) but then after logging in they are sent to the default login redirection for the site. In this case it's a members dashboard, which means they then have to find the post.
My question is: Is there a way to have the member go directly from the email link to the login to the members post, bypassing the sites default redirection?
Thanks
Hi there,

I assume that you're using default Joomla login for EasyBlog yes? Should it will redirect to the respective blog post once login into the site as there is return value stored. http://take.ms/17EnR3

Not sure what you mean by default Joomla login for Easyblog. We use the standard Joomla login for the site.
I don't quite understand the second sentence. Are you saying it should redirect correctly to the post once they login?

Hi there,

Sorry for the misunderstanding, for the login I'm referring to the (settings>general>user: http://take.ms/G879D )

Are you saying it should redirect correctly to the post once they login?

Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. What is the link provided in the e-mail? Can you please provide us with the link generated in the e-mail.

Also, can you please edit the post and include the site and FTP access so that we can trouble shoot this?
