Hi again, this is really frustrating. I contacted (mt) Media Temple again and this is from the chat:
Hello Oddgeir! I see that you are inquiring in regards to email, is that correct?
Oddgeir LiumLooks like webjobbing.com is not sending out emails
and not blacklisted:
http://mxtoolbox.com/SuperTool.aspx#
when people register on the site they should receive an email (We have sent an activation code to your email. Please also check your spam box in any case.)
but they are not, and I have tested sending to myself and never receive
Is my email server settings set up wrong
at least something must be wrong
Jaime EOh no! That is not good to hear. I am sorry for any trouble this may be causing you. So sending email out from webjobbing.com does not appear to be receiving the emails you send out from webjobbing.com, is that correct?
Oddgeir LiumYes
I had some trouble with malware and being blacklisted but no more
blocking
Jaime EAh! Ok. Let’s have a look and see.
When you send out mail, are you doing this through an email client such as Apple Mail, Outlook, or Thunderbird?
Oddgeir LiumGood question, it´s just going through the site webjobbing.com utomaticly when people register. But they never receive mails (activation). So the issue is, people register but can't activate because they never get the mail.
This is from support StackIdeas when they try to register: and try to register in Joomla page, but I didn't receive any email for the account activate email after done the registration ( screenshot :

I suspect your current Joomla email configuration settings is not set correctly, perhaps you can consult with your hosting and see how it goes and keep us updated then.2016-02-19_1920 - arlexwong's library
Jaime EAh! Ok. So you are on the right path on what is occurring. First, if you have email going out from your website in order to attempt to send an activation email or any kind of reply from your website, this is a setting and also configuration on how your mail is being sent out. Let me explain a little further.
Your email is hosted here at (mt) Media Temple which is using the following DNS record:
MX records for webjobbing.com:
10 mail.webjobbing.com. 205.186.128.59
However, your website is hosted away from (mt) Media Temple with different set of IPs:
A|CNAME records for webjobbing.com:
webjobbing.com 192.124.249.9
http://www.webjobbing.com webjobbing.com.
192.124.249.9
If mail is being sent out from your website, you are sending out from your website’s IP 192.124.249.9 and not from here at (mt) Media Temple.
This means that other email services or companies will see this through reverse DNS, SPF record check, and other DKIM to see if you pass through their email filter and authenticity of where the email is coming from.
Thus, you may not be blacklisted; but other email services are automatically deleting your email before it hits an inbox because it is failing the areas of where email originates.
You will have to ensure you do some of the common ways to attempt and resolve this:

Oddgeir LiumNot sure what to say, this seems very complicated

I am using sucuri.net for spam/virus protection/firewall etc. Maybe contact them for this issue?
Jaime EYou certainly can. However, the above articles are what you may want to use to authenticate your outgoing mail from your website. Otherwise, any third-party email service provider may have a set of filters about incoming mail and checking the origination and headers before allowing it to arrive to the inbox of a user.

Can I use some of MT services to help me out? Read
Jaime EUnfortunately, we do not have any service for this matter. I am sorry. You may need to look for a server or developer administrator who can set up the proper configurations so that mail going out from your website are also allowed.
