I mentioned that in some profile url the data from the emailaddress is used and the "." and the "@" are replaced by "-"

In some urls I only see pasts of the name but others crealy show the emal address.

I don't know why some do and some don't but it feels like a very unwanted bug.
People can register using EasySocial or the integrated JFBConnect Facebook or Google buttons. Maybe there is a clue.

I let users login with there email address and on registering have the username generated from the email address.
Hello Frank,

When you allow users to register with their email address, their email address automatically becomes their username. What you should do is to configure EasySocial to use the "real name" for the permalink instead. This could be configured under Settings > Users

Strangely enough I have this permalink set to real name.

Maybe I have had this value set to username in the history but not recently. I do see a user that has been registered recently and has his emailaddess "hidden" n the permalink. Could this be different is people register using the regular Easysocial procedure or through the JFBConnect Facebook buttons.

In JFBConnect set to "Enable Automatic Registration"

Could I reset the permalink for all users?

Hello Frank,

There's actually no way to actually reset all permalinks on the site but can you try registering on your site with an email address as username and see if your permalink is using the email address or the real name?
