Email not getting to members

I have email default settings set to email notifications are off. The members that wanted to change them to yes did. Now they are not receiving email notifications on the ones they want. I tested it from one member to my account and I am not receiving emails either. any clue what i can do to fix this?

Hello Kenny,

I've just realized that you have mentioned you have not set up a cronjob. The cronjob is needed to send the emails notification. If you don't want to use a cronjob, you can turn on this option: http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-01-22_0234.png Means that the cron URL will get executed everytime the page loads. But it is preferable to use cronjob instead.

May I know which "particular" rule are you testing this against and how can I reproduce this issue on your site or on my local instance?

Hey Mark,

I set my preferences to Comments on your photo = yes and Someone likes your photo = yes to test it out. i used another profile to like and comment on my own photos and never received an email notification. the only way i found this out was because a member wasn't receiving his emails so i tested to see and i am not receiving email notifications either.

it has been set like that from the beginning of the site

. i just tested it again and no emails come through. i will try to figure out how to set upu cronjobs and see if that works.
