To expand on my previous reply, you can find the email template file for the new message notification in the following directory. Refer to line 60 and adjust the font size there. I have put the code at line 60 below for your reference.
JoomlaFolder\components\com_easysocial\themes\wireframe\emails\html\conversations\alerts.new.php

Remember to do the template override as mentioned in the guide so your overrides are protected from future updates.
