update: it works, when i override direct in com_easysocial, but the override in the template/gantry-anyway/HTML/com_easysocial... etc. don't work

I tested the logo override on your site while renaming the logo file in EasySocial and it seems to be working(Inviting Friends).
Am I missing something here? Perhaps you can tell me which email specifically does not use the override logo so I can try to replicate the issue with that email? Thanks.

It seems to be every notification email i get, when a user does anything on the website (new sign in, comment whatever, friends request)
For me it seems that the override in the template's HTML is not recognized.

I believe it's most likely because of your e-mail client that may be preventing the image from being loaded. Which mail client are you using?

i'm using mac's own mail program and for testing reason a gmx webmail - same issue. It's no problem for me, to change the logo image in the component, but it's little boring to do it after each ES-update and should work with the override in the template too.

I have checked the issue and it seems that this is related to your other installation issue where the template folder cannot be found when there's no default template for all pages. I have already submitted a report for the devs to look into it.
In the meantime, the best way to temporary solve this is to set a default template for ALL pages(http://take.ms/DdYaX).
You can duplicate a G5_hydrogen template, set it up and make it default for ALL pages, while keeping the other 2 default language templates.
After that, try and see if the template override works.

sorry fro the delay. Whatever you did, you solved all troubles. Update to ES 2.07 worked perfect, as well as the email logo issue.
