Hi Guy's,
I see the emails sent out by EasySocial is still under development. That is to say it's not "Easy" at the moment.
Let me give you an for instance.
EasySocial 1.4.4 comes packaged with your proprietary EasySocial logotype preinstalled in the outgoing email/messaging system which is EasySocial Branding.
There are no backend options indicating your Branding is in place and a way to switch it to my own.
Okay, after discovering the Branding and search and wading through some documentation such as http://stackideas.com/docs/easysocial/administrators/templating/customizing-email-logo I'm able to replace the logo.png with my own.
Good, but the thing is, after treble checking the given instructions the override does not kick in as expected.
Of course I can replace the EasySocial Branding logo in the wireframe theme, once I've found the correct and direct path, which I've done. However, this gets changed back again to your Branding with every update which for me is not good at all.
May I suggest you use a plain white placeholder or at least something neutral.
There are also issues with editing email texts. Although it can be done there ought to be an "Easy" more efficient way to do it.
Anyhow, I'd appreciate it if you'd check over your documentation for said override for overriding your proprietary EasySocial logo.png and advise.
Thanks in advance,
Cheers!
