I was trying to setup email blogging and facing some issues.
I would like all emails to be processed into blogs, irrespective of whether the sender's email is a Joomla registered user or not.

How can we implement a simple email blogging feature that processes all emails and their attachments (especially images)?

Please change any mailbox settings as required to setup email blogging. The email settings are fine as I get a "Success" message on "Run". I have set up the cron job but you may manually run it via the EasyBlog cron URL for testing purposes.

Thanks!
Hello Sougata,

Can you provide us your Email account access so that we can track the email whether it get fetched or not. Also we may need your FTP access to do troubleshooting.

Hello,

Thanks for the access. I've checked your troubleshoot your site and found out you have enable this setting: http://screencast.com/t/eB3nRCaV . I've disabled it for you. If this is enabled, Easyblog will try to map the sender's mail and user's mail in Joomla. If it doesn't exist, Easyblog will skip the email.

Hello,

It is because your email does not has any text. Easyblog requires content to save properly. Please try adding some texts any see whether it is working or not.

Thanks.
How can we override the requirement for some text?

There may be some posts with only photos or videos.

Please try to include this feature in the next release of EasyBlog.
This will allow email processing with images only and no text.

Hey Sougata,

It would be best if you can submit a feature request regarding this in our voice page -> http://stackideas.com/voices/easyblog, so everyone else could vote for it, the more people request on this, and we will priority consider it.

You had earlier turned off mapping user's email:
http://screencast.com/t/eB3nRCaV

I want existing users emails to get mapped with blog post. For guest users, it can use the default Super User's ID.
If I enable the mapping, will it stop processing blogs from users not present in User Manager? How can we achieve both mapping email and accepting email posts from non-users?

Hey Sougata,

If you have enabled the user mapping, the sender must have an account on your site and their email address should be associated with the user account on the site. It cannot process unknown email senders currently
