Hey!

When I am using for example JCE, or TinyMce editor with Easyblog article editing, how can I have 'Insert block' -function in the uppermenu? Now when I change from the inbuilt editor those functions disappear.

..or is there possibility to have more style options with in-built-editor? Just doing the learning-curve, but as I am editing the text with in-built editor, it seems I can not for example edit headings. (probably stupid user error )
Hi there,

Yes it is not possible to change editor when editing those post currently. Best bet is to copy and paste them part by part and design them accordingly to your need.

Currently, it is not possible to achieve this as those blocks only available for built-in editor only.

You should be able to edit them as you can see here http://take.ms/Qu19q

Please advice.

I don't have any heading-blocks or possibilities on my own editor? I can change fonts and font sizes, but can't define headings.

Aah, okay. At the moment that is quite difficult way to add headings, cause I am pasting existing blog-writings from another site (.txt-files) and it would be really fast just to highlight the heading-text and define that from the editor.

Now I have to cut text-parts, find places to add heading and insert blocks. Every blog-writing has maybe 10 headings and there are lot of blog-entrys to add. (40-50)

Adding/inserting headings as a block-feature is ok, if I would be writing new blogs from clean table, but this way it feels super-slow.

Good tip, though.

Hi there,

If you wanted to copy and paste from other sources, from my opinions, it would be more easier if you use Tinymce/JCE editor as you can edit(configure them on the fly).

By using Built-in composer, it is easier if you wanted to copy and paste part by part or write from scratch as you can drag drop those blocks and design them according to what design you have on your mind.

Do let us if you required any further question by creating a new thread. Do let us know if your issues solved or not.

Yes, I get it. Problem just is, that I have to add different blocks to basically all entries, and I can't do that with using Jce or Tinymce. And there is a possibility, that these entires need to be edited later and I guess changing editor after that is impossible. So I am kind of stuck.

Hi there,

You are most welcome. Glad to hear that your issue has been resolved now.

By the way, Perhaps it would be best if you can submit a feature request regarding this issues by creating a new ticket on the forums and set it to "Feature Request" so that everyone else could vote for it. We will prioritize this feature during the development process for the next major version of Easyblog if there are more people request on this.

Just for your information, I have locked and marked this thread as resolved to avoid confusions in the future. Please start a new thread if you have any other issue in the future so it will be easier for us to manage your inquiries.

Thanks for understanding.
