Hi,
I have a Blog admin user group set up and have added a couple of users to this group. Within Easyblog this group has Moderate All Entries set to yes but one person cannot edit the other person's blog post without first setting the Author to themselves but they then cannot change it back to the original person.
What am I doing wrong?
Thank you.
Hello Frances,

Just by curiosity, is this on the latest version of EasyBlog? I remembered fixing this in the previous release where the moderate entry rule wasn't "respected".

Hi Mark,

I am using version 3.9.15155. I go into the updater but it says

Installed version: 3.9.15155

Latest available version: 3.9.15370
Sorry, but your hosting environment does not have CURL support. Please contact your hosting provider to install CURL extensions.

How do I update to the latest version?
Thank you.

Hello Frances Woollard,

Sorry for late reply to this,
Regarding with this message you getting from Easyblog updater :
Sorry, but your hosting environment does not have CURL support. Please contact your hosting provider to install CURL extensions.

You have to consult this with your Webhosting provider, because when you update the Easyblog from updater, that updater is needed the CURL for transferring data using various protocols.

I have help you updated to latest version of Easyblog install from extension manager.
If you checked, the issues still persists, please refer back to us.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello Frances Woollard,

Sorry for late reply to this,
I have look back your replied, I'm a little bit lost here
Because what i understand is when a registered user publishing a blog post, that blog post is under the moderation.
Then the moderator view that blog post, the moderator can't able to edit right?

If i getting wrong your meaning, could you mind guide me how to reproduce on this problem and provide some step by step so i can know what your current problem here?

Hi,
My apologies for the delay in replying.
There is a blog post which has been created by Chris Denning and his colleaue, Mustafa would like to update the blog but he doesn't have permission to change the blog text. These two people are the only ones that can create/amend the blog posts (except for SuperUser). How can I make it so either of them can change each other's posts.
I hope this explains what I need to be able to do.
Thank you.

Hello Frances Woollard,

I'm really sorry that delayed of this reply and asking you again about this problem, because this thread already 2 week ago.
What i understand now is the blog post created by Chris Denning and his colleague? (do you mean have 2 author created this blog post or?) , so the Mustafa (moderator?) would like to update the blog post but he doesn't have the permission change the blog text, then you would like the Super user also can edit the blog post which under the moderation right?

Also may i know what user group under this 2 user ( Chris Denning, Mustafa )? Could you mind explain again what you would like to achieve here? I'm sorry that asking you again about this.
