Unfortunately it doesn't and I would not reckon storing such "history" because it's going to massively overload your database assuming that if you have 5000 posts and each of the posts are being edited several times.

Apart from that, it also adds an extra query to fetch all "modified" permalinks before rendering the page. That will add more loading time to the page.
