Sorry but I am a little lost here but are you trying to edit a news posted in a group on the stream? Currently you can't edit it directly on the stream but you could edit it by accessing the news section of the group.

Perhaps you can provide us one of the screenshot which stream you referring?

Because currently only available user to edit the story stream on the site, that was not possible to edit other type of stream like files, link, photo, video and etc.
