Hello,

I want to know how to change the content on the user sitebar depending on the page (guest, user, groups, events ...) I wish I could change the order and add or remove links.

Thank you for your help.
Hey Bob,

I am sorry that delay of this reply,

Can you check my attached screenshot and see is it you referring to these part of the user sidebar?

If yes, perhaps you can point us which one you would like to remove so that we can provide you a good solution with this?

Because some of the sidebar widget and module which under the user sidebar, you can disable it from backend > Easysocial > application OR backend > extension > module manager .

Thank you for your reply, Arlex

I have no specific plan yet, the idea is to make the site easier to use.
For example, delete "Bookmarks" and "Pinned items". Also remove the "Applications" menu.

Regards,

Bob

Hi Bob,

Please find the answer from your inquiries below.

For example, delete "Bookmarks" and "Pinned items".

You can remove it by editing the core file here from /components/com_easysocial/themes/wireframe/dashboard/sidebar.feeds.php or you can download the attachment below and place it at the above file path and see how it goes.

Also remove the "Applications" menu

You can remove it by going to your backend > easysocial > themes > wireframe > dashboard > display applications set to "No", http://screencast.com/t/TymLTafR3 .

Hope these help.
