During the edit process of turning the avatar photo, the picture will not appear anymore, also the selection menu will not appear anymore. Afterwards only the selection appears in the Edit menu: see original. This link leads to the error page 404.
What is the reason for the problem?
Regards
Martin
menu edit, view original, etc. appears again.
If I want to edit the photo, it does not appear.
I recently changed the location setting from local server to Amazon S3. Could it be that the interlinked link to the photo is directed to the local server instead of Amazon S3 server? see the screenshot view-orginal-error

I tested it all again.
Uuploading new avatar images works fine.
Avatar images from different users edit works and also the link to the original photos works.
However, what is currently leading to a misconduct is the following.
When I edit an avatar photo, for example, rotate the image and then save, the photo is not stored as rotated.
So I edit the photo again. This will cause the image to disappear. In addition, the link to the orginal foto is no longer valid. The link leads to the 404 Error page.

Hey Martin,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. I was able to replicate this issue on your site and it seems like this is caused by storing the photos on Amazon. I believe for some reasons, the image wasn't re-downloaded back from Amazon when it is trying to rotate the photo.

I have logged a ticket for this issue internally but could you please leave the site access in tact, so that our developers can troubleshoot this if they need to?

I updated the side access. Let me know if the access does not work.
