Edit Post Type Names

Hello,

I need to edit the post type drop down on the blog submission page and I also need to remove the quote option from post type. Is there a way to achieve this in the admin panel and if not what files do I need to edit in order to make these changes ?

Hi Matt,

I am sorry for the delayed reply. Here I have attached to you 2 files, can you please download it and put it in your site here:

.../components/com_easyblog/themes/dashboard/system/dashboard.microblog.php
.../components/com_easyblog/themes/dashboard/system/dashboard.write.php

Please give this a try and see if this resolves your issue.

Hello Matt,

There is an option to disable post type but it will get rid all the post type options. If you want to remove only Quote option, you will need to modify the file. You can provide us your backend and FTP so we can modify it for you.

Yes and can you also please provide the files that you edited for future updates. And just to verify I would like to remove quote and also the link post type. Will this also remove these two options from the quick update page?
