Hey there,

I have a problem that some users delete their accounts and before doing so, they edit their posts and clear the content inside them. Since EasyDiscuss does not have a function to undo changes made by users, is there a way to make editing only available for like an hour?
Hey Sabih,

Unfortunately right now this is not possible with EasyDiscuss

Hey Mark,

thank you for your reply, at least I can stop searching for it.

I can only suggest for future releases that EasyDiscuss lacks a bit of moderation tools at the moment. Like the possibility to move some posts together to a new thread is missing. This makes it hard in some ways to use it as a forum on a live site.

Nevertheless thank you very much for such a quick reaction on weekend.

Hey Sabih,

Hm, there is already a feature called "branch" where you can branch a reply out as a new thread

True, but in Kunena i.e. you can select to make a post to a new thread with the following answers. In EasyDiscuss I have to take a single post and make a new thread with it. Take the next post, make another new thread, then go to the second new thread and make it a fusion with the first new made thread. During an active time of your users this consumes too much time so people start posting inside the new thread though you are still moving posts. If you got a long topic and you want to take out like 7 posts, this is not possible at all.

Hm, you mean the ability to cherry pick one post and the rest of the trail would follow the post as replies to it?

Yes. This is an important feature for users that go offtopic.
