Hello,

I'd like to know if there is a way to create private forums for members,
I mean one forum by member, that he would be the only one to see and to use with the staff team?

Is the solution to create one Joomla group by member and to give permissions to these groups one by one?
If yes, knowing there will have about 100 members, could it be a problem to have so many Joomla groups?

Thanks
You don't actually create private forums but you can allow users to create private tickets. These items are only visible to site admin / moderators and the person that created the ticket

Hi Mark and thanks for your answer.

Unfortunately, private tickets wouldn't match with our needs because our goal is to give news to our members with photos and videos in a private place.
It seems that to create a joomla group for each member is the easiest way

If you said so, you still can use your own way though .

Hm, if that is the case you can still use Joomla user groups mapping to map the permission of the categories but I would really suggest you stick to the private tickets option.

Could you tell me where is the "Private tickets option" setting in the admin, please?

I'm seeking for a long time and don't find... :-(
