Hi friends,

As you can see with attached pictures, a friend wrote me to inform me that he allways receive email notifications when "nouveaux j'aime" (new likes - in french) are available. But he have disabled it from his frontend. So, why he receive email notifications? Maybee you will answer me that I have manually enabled notifications trough Joomla backend, but I remember a previous post, where I asked you why email notifications don't work, and you answer was "you need to manually enable it from your Joomla backend. So, is it a bug of your system ?

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

From what I checked in my locally, by default it will not send out the email from Easysocial for those Easydiscuss alert rules, it will only proceed that system notification.

Which mean that the email user received was send from EasyDiscuss, so user unable to decide whether which email rules do not want to receive.

Currently the only possible is turn off this in globally setting backend > Easydiscuss > setting > notification > Notify owner when user like .
