The default behavior of the searching filter by category is actually, it will narrow down(search in depth) the search query(topics,replies) in the category.
Where it will find the search query (for topic, replies) within the category.
In your example here, you want to search juve in the juventus fc category, it actually will list all search result of 'juve' in the 'juventus fc' category for topic and replies
If you only want to search category (for example juventus fc) you no need to filter it by category: http://take.ms/PiQL5

We actually built a custom search module on our site as we have customized the search results page on EasyDiscuss on our site too.

Perhaps if you could post this in the feature requests section, we'll try to see if we could create a module like this

So.... it works like that, that you just optimize search results for your query - that you select that system looks, for example, just in one category. Am I right?
