Have you change the filter here(http://take.ms/HnxCsV) and see whether the email activities are generated?

The issue regarding duplicate email being sent is reported in previous versions but it is supposed to be already fixed. Can you provide the backend and ftp access so I can test this out and investigate?

If you have a test site, it would be great as well so that emails are not accidentally sent.

use please the easydiscuss DEV category for tests, this will send emails to admin only.

I managed to determine the bug behind this. The issue seems to be occurring for replies only. May I know whether you are experiencing duplicate emails for new discussions?

I will log this in our tracker so it can be resolved.

Yes it seems that happen in ED replies only, any temporary fix please ? our members are receiving lot of emails.

We are still looking into this. As soon as we have a fix, we'll let you know.

Just un update,

I know why we receive two notifications some time and some times thre.

If i am the topic author i receive 3 emails every time a reply is posted
If i just participated in the discussion (subscriber) i receive 2 emails.

as attached as the screenshots.

Can you try download my attached file and replace into this JoomlaFolder/administrator/components/com_easydiscuss/includes/mailer/mailer.php and see how it goes?
