Hello,

My side module for ED categories is no longer working properly since the latest update. The category accordion should collapse sub cats by default and then expand when the arrows are clicked but nothing is happening.

Thanks
Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

I think something is not right for those compression css, can you try temporary disable JCH Optimized plugin and clear all the Joomla backend cache and browser cache and see is it working?

If yes, then re-enable again that JCH plugin then try again, if still not working, can you update your Joomla backend user account to have Superadmin privileges so I can able to access your backend?

Because now i getting this :

Warning
You do not have access to the Administrator section of this site.

Hi Alex,

Thanks for answering. I tried your tips but it didnt work. I also tried with JCH completely disabled but that didnt solve the issue either. I have corrected your access now also.

Thanks

Another weird thing to note is that the main category section which uses collapsable trees is not broken, its just the sidebar modules and only since updating

Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

It seems like that is not related with the JCH plugin, can you provide us with your FTP user account which i can access with your Joomla root folder?

because now I was unable to access your Joomla root folder but I can connect with your FTP user account, you can refer on my attached screenshot below.

My ftp is awkward because it may appear that you cannot access the files but you can. You need to navigate back to / and then you'll see home/admin/vghl.Myvirtualgaming.com

You need to keep moving out of that folder you are in.

Thanks.

Thanks, I can connect with your FTP now.

Based on what i test, it seems like sometime can click the toggle from the category module, but sometime it won't.

I suspect that is your page load slow causing some of the EasyDiscuss script hitting time out error,

Do you consider enabled Joomla cache system? By the way, I've applied this following code into your .htaccess file

AddOutputFilterByType DEFLATE text/text text/html text/plain text/xml text/css application/x-javascript application/javascript text/javascript

And help you enabled the gzip compression setting from your backend global configuration page, can you try clear your browser cache and try click on that toggle from the category module and see how it goes?

Hi, we can not use joomla cache as we have a lot of real time data that breaks down when caching is on.

As for Gzip, i was having issues making it work before but are you saying you fixed it? If so, thanks!

Yes, that is true if your site is very active, you shouldn't use cache system.

As for Gzip, i was having issues making it work before but are you saying you fixed it? If so, thanks!

Yes, I already enabled it and tested several times, it seems work fine, may i know did you test it yet? Remember you have to clear your browser cache before you test it.
