Is there any provision of creating custom fields in the profile? Can I import joomla profile fields like address etc.
I second this. Without this feature I won't be able to use the extension as it is important to identify where the user is from.

As an example I want to add an extra field (Store Name) to identify that the particular user is part of that store.

I tried changing the Nickname field to do this - but it didn't work.

Hello Gabriel,

Hm, in the latest version of EasyDiscuss we actually have a section called custom fields at the back end.

Hi Mark,

It is my understanding that the Custom Fields are for the Question and the Reply form.

I would rather have that information available in the profile of the user under its name if possible.

I've posted a question but so far no luck: Title

Ah, I see sorry for the confusions earlier. This isn't supported yet currently However, if you have EasySocial, it could be easily retrievable though.

Hi Mark, maybe you can come with a solution
I've had a look at EasySocial, but as such it isn't something that we need on our website.

To give you an overall picture of what we want to achieve.

We have a network of over 400 stores. Each store has between 1-15 staff. The website is a place where the staff can access training materials, resources and also a place where they can get support. EasyDiscuss could be the perfect solution and so far the only issue that we found is that we need to know to which store the user belongs to so we can quickly answer his/hers questions.

A field in the profile under the user's name would be a perfect solution.

EasySocial it's a bit of an overkill as we don't need any of that "facebook" stuff. Is there a way that I could use EasySocial's profile settings without actually using EasySocial?

Eg. User clicks edit Profile - Completes it's profile under EasySocial - and once that is done it get redirected back to EasyDiscuss?
